Writing like I'm running out of time

(did I tell y'all that I accidentally crashed out while the polycule was watching Hamilton on our projector last weekend? Hilarious circumstance. If you don't know, now you know.)

Yesterday I published the piece on my column that I’m the most proud of. It was a difficult one to write and it basically consumed my life. (I think I went to bed within two hours of my partner falling asleep… once in the past week.) There are lots of people to thank — mostly, my manager who asked zero questions when I said I needed to leave work five hours early. (I still have an hour and a half of time debt I need to pay off tonight.)

Anyways, read her. Or don’t.

That’s All!

Y’all I feel like I’ve been neglecting y’all but I need a single day in which I am not writing. There’s so much writing in the next month of my life. Honestly I wanted to do a Draw Steel game jam but I simply have not been able to catch enough of a breath to carve out time for that.

Also, in case you were wondering, I did exactly zero biking and slash or running this week. Well that’s not strictly true. I ran to catch a couple busses Friday as I was fleeing the office (paid work) to get to the office (free work) during my lunch break. But I’m thinking I’ll bike in to work tomorrow. (I haven’t sorted out the actual bike room access so I’ll just lock my bike outside and hope no one steals it :D.)

Until Wednesday at 10:03 pm, buzz on, my busy bees!

How I long for a simple mac and cheese lunch since 2025
